Are you fed up with having a large loft, but being unable to put it to good use? Do you want to make better use of the existing floor plan in your home and add value? If so, you’re in the right place. West Sussex Construction are here to help. We’re your go-to experts for all manner of loft conversions, whether you want to create a new bedroom or just create a chill-out space at the top of your home.
If your property is too small, you’re not alone. As families grow and add new people, things can start feeling a little cramped and restrictive. Often, it seems like moving is the only option.
Swapping your current house for a new one, though, is expensive, often running into thousands of pounds. Surely, there’s another option?
Loft conversions are often the solution to this predicament. They negate the need to move while also providing you with the extra functional space you need to accommodate family, guests or your hobbies.
The great thing about loft conversions is that you can personalise each project to your needs. Even if you’re the type of person who only uses their attic for storage, our renovations can help. With West Sussex Construction, you can create a beautiful new room that keeps all your possessions neatly out of sight while also making your home more valuable to potential buyers.
Get The Perfect Loft Conversion
We offer a range of stunning loft conversions for any property
Room-In-Loft Conversions
Room-in-loft conversions are the most affordable type of loft conversion you can buy. They take advantage of the existing structures in the room, instead of constructing new ones or extending the roof.
A typical room-in-loft conversion involves reinforcing the floor to support the weight of furniture and installing lights in the roof. You can also add additional windows or skylights, as well as add new insulation to keep the room warm in the winter. We take care of all access requirements, including staircases.
Dormer Conversions
Dormer conversions work similarly to room-in-loft conversions, except you can also add dormer windows. Dormer windows extend out from the sides of a pitched roof to provide additional interior space. Usually, dormers have smaller pitched roofs of their own, but you can also get flat-topped versions if they would suit your property better.
Hip-To-Gable Conversions
If you have a gable roof and want to extend your attic in multiple directions, a hip-to-gable conversion is ideal. Here, we extend the ceiling in line with the rest of the house to accommodate new standing room. We lay all of the brickwork and ensure that the conversion complements the rest of your property in terms of both style and proportions
Mansard Conversions
Mansard conversions improve your loft by installing a flat roof at a 72-degree angle. The solution helps to increase the available volume in your rooms, adding significantly more space than many other methods.
